5/24/14 Dartmouth Solar Challenge hosts Home Solar Makeover Event at VFW Hall in North Dartmouth on June 10th

The Southcoast Energy Challenge will host a community workshop and presentation “Home Solar Makeover” at the VFW Hall on Cross St. in Dartmouth, beginning at 6:00 pm on June 10th. The Dartmouth Solar Challenge is a limited-time program of the SouthCoast Energy Challenge and is being offered in partnership with the Town of Dartmouth. Solar expert, Artie Leonard from RGS Energy, will give the presentation. RGS Energy was chosen to partner with the SouthCoast Energy Challenge and the Town of Dartmouth to offer free site assessments and information about solar electric (PV) to residents during the Dartmouth Solar Challenge. Attendees can learn how they can shrink their carbon footprint along with their electric bills by making clean energy using the power of the sun. Attendees will also learn how the tiered incentive rebates available only during the time-limited Dartmouth Solar Challenge make solar even more affordable. All are welcome to join the conversation, ask questions and receive information on improving your home’s efficiency through solar on Tuesday, June 10th at 6:00 – 7:30pm at the VFW Hall located at 144 Cross Rd in North Dartmouth.
