5/14/14 “Solar Makes Sense” at Barnes & Noble on Thursday, May 29

Join Southcoast Energy Challenge and RGS Energy for a conversation about solar at Barnes & Noble Booksellers on Thursday, May 29, beginning at 7:00 pm. As electricity rates are soaring, did you know you could now lock in a rate of 10 cents kWh for twenty years? Did you know that solar reduces the production of particulates that contribute to poor air quality? Did you know that a solar PV (photovoltaic) system could increase the market value of your house?

Learn how to shrink your carbon footprint along with your electric bill by making clean energy for your family and your community. Learn how the tiered rebates available during the time-limited Dartmouth Solar Challenge make solar even more affordable. The Dartmouth Solar Challenge is a town-sponsored community partnership with nonprofit Southcoast Energy Challenge and the full-service solar company RGS Energy. All are welcome to join the conversation on enhancing your solar sense/cents on Thursday, May 29, 7:00– 8:30 pm at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 392 State Road Route 6 at the Dartmouth Towne Center in Dartmouth.
