Rain Gardens – A Beautiful Solution to Stormwater Runoff

When rain runs over hard surfaces such as driveways, sidewalks and roofs, it carries pollutants into storm drains and eventually into rivers. Rain gardens capture water and allow it to infiltrate into the ground where it is absorbed and filtered by plants.

In addition, rain gardens reduce flooding and replenish groundwater supplies. For further information check out this excellent site: raingardens
