Energy Challenge Team at New Bedford Waterfront Festival

Wow what a great weekend! The weather was perfect for talking to folks about the Challenge and offering them a chance to sign up for their no-cost, Mass Save home energy assessment. The Energy Challenge team was there tabling both days.  We had our new interns out there learning the ropes. I must say, they not only exceeded my expectations but actually got more sign-ups than I did!

On Sunday, we were lucky enough to partner with BCC. Every year, Meghan, the SAGE Director at BCC, always has the largest crowds at her table. She displays underwater robots and lets kids actually pilot them with the hope that they consider engineering and other STEM related fields. Its was really unbelievable how many people attend the festival. It seems like the crowd grows bigger every year.

To all our new interns, welcome aboard and let’s work together to make tomorrow just that much better! Great job everyone!
